Protected area under the Habitats Directive (SCI) with code BG0000522, bordering on a protected area under the Birds Directive. Includes Lipaka Protected Site. Located in the territory of Vidin District within the territorial scope of Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water – Montana.
The territory of the protected area includes deciduous forests of beech, lime-tree, ash-tree, sycamore, elm-tree. Existence of mixed habitats of Moesian silver-linden forests and thermophile beech forests.
The access is via an paved road to the village of Sinagovtsi. The most suitable accommodation and boarding options are in the city of Vidin or in small sites in the surrounding villages.
The area allows for hiking – there are two ecopaths in the Bozhuritsa area. The habitats of protected plant species are interesting to see.
